TROCURI -coin grading

Coin grading.

How we grade coins on the 1 to 70 Sheldon scale.

Every coin is assessed by our AI grading assistant against the 70-point Sheldon scale used across the hobby, then double-checked by a person.

How TROCURI grades.

We photograph both faces of the coin under even light, including close-ups of the high points where wear shows up first. Our AI looks at luster, strike sharpness, surface marks, and wear, reads the date and mint mark, and estimates a grade on the 1 to 70 scale. It also flags possible cleaning or damage and compares recent sales for the same type and year. A person confirms the grade before it is posted.

Grading is one step of TROCURI, our in-house Listing Tools pipeline: it also identifies each item, scrapes recent sold comps, recommends a fair price, and composes the listing before a person reviews it.

What it looks at.

What you get on every listing.

AI-assisted, human-confirmed.

Our grades are careful in-house estimates that help us set fair prices and give you clear expectations. They are not a replacement for professional third-party grading such as CGC, PSA, or PCGS. When an item has been professionally graded, the listing says so. If there is a flaw, it is in the photos and the description.
